Varsity Hawks Soccer Update!

soccer-boys-varsity.jpg

Your Boys soccer team brought home the district title last night.  It was a big game for the boys with it being senior night and our charity game.  The boys beat Corsicana 3 to 1.  That takes the boys to 18-1-1 in the season and 8-0-1 in district.

In district play the boys only gave up 1 goal all season.  Our first playoff game will be when we come back from Spring Break. On another side the boys and girls soccer teams raised over $3,000 for our charity at last nights game.

We appreciate all who supported our cause and it’s great to see our teams work for the good of our community.  We appreciate the hard work Mrs. Malke put into this to be such a success.

Varsity Hawks Soccer Update!

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

The boys’ soccer team played Corsicana, this was a huge game for the boys.  Whoever won this game would be first in district.  The boys played really well and won 3 to 0.  This was a huge step for the boys.  That takes our overall record to 14-1 and 4-0 in district play.

So far the boys have been a fun team to watch.  They have scored 52 goals and have only given up 4 goals all year.  As of right now they still have not been scored on in district play.  We appreciate all the support and hope to see you at the games.  Our next game (is planned for) is Tuesday at home against Lancaster at 5:30.
