On November 14th, Shelby Hall signed her letter of intent to attend Abilene Christian University. Shelby is a senior at Red Oak High School and plays on the varsity softball team.

Red Oak High School - Graduation Year: 2009

Selected as a recipient of the 2008-2009 State Farm® Texas Scholar Athlete program scholarship, Stephanie is ranked third in her class of 411 students and is a member of the Red Oak High School soccer team. Her academic achievements include the “A” Honor Roll (2007 & 2008) and awards in Pre-AP Chemistry, Pre-AP Algebra, Spanish II, AP History, Pre AP Physics. She has also taken AP English Language & Literature, AP Spanish 4, Calculus, Physics, and Computer Science. Her athletic accolades include being named MVP of the soccer team. Team accomplishments include District Champions (2006-2007 and 2007-2008), Regional Quarter-Finalists (2006-2007) and Regional Semi-Finalists (2007-2008). She also ran cross-country her sophomore and junior years.

Congratulations to our Lady HAWK Volleyball team on completing their 18th consecutive undefeated District Season last night by defeating West Mesquite in straight sets.

Our first play off game will be against Ennis, Monday, November 3, at Ennis at 7:00. Red Oak will be the visiting team. Tickets will be $4 for adults and $3 for students. District passes and State Coaches passes will be accepted. Faculty passes will not be accepted. Let’s fill the Gym as we begin our run toward State.
Directions: Take I-35 south to 287 east. Go past the Motorplex and take the to Corsicana exit (this is a split stay to the left) (Do NOT take Ennis business to the right). Take HWY 34 exit and turn left at the light. Go past the high school to the first light. Turn right on Ensign and pull into the third driveway on the right.
