Description: Like the boys’ team, the girls got off to a rough start in district taking losses in their first three contests against Ennis, Corsicana and Waxahachie. After facing off against Kauffman and Paris in the Kauffman Tournament, the ladies jumped back into district competition. After a defeat in Lancaster Red Oak faced off against the Midlothian Lady Panthers at home and claimed their first district victory by the score of 40-23. The Lady Hawks have since fell to Arlington Seguin and Ennis in a hard-fought match. By air date the ladies’ season will be winding down and the team will wrap up their season with a game against district leader Arlington Seguin on February 5th at home.
